More than a dozen of metro-Detroit’s finest musicians battling this COVID-19 pandemic the best way they know how — by making music! And they’ll be adhering to the stay-home mandate by playing it safe and online on the Facebook page ‘Playing in the Detroit area Tonight’, which can be found HERE.

Of course, all these musicians have been out of works for many weeks now. So, they’ll be posting PayPal or Venmo links where music lovers can show their appreciation with tips to help players survive until live public shows begin again.

This online event is organized by Jennifer Westwood & Dylan Dunbar with help from 2 Stones Events, Cave Radio, Life in Michigan, Beirdo, and Rust Belt City Limits.

Jen and Dylan have been gathing monetary donations and doing weekly giveaways of $50 and $100 to local musicians for several weeks. The next giveaway will coincide with this Music Marathon. If you wish to donate money, contact Jen HERE.
