The Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and 1st National Bank present the 14th Annual Brighton's Smokin' Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival in downtown Brighton. Event hours are 5-11 p.m. and noon to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Award-winning barbecue will once again be smokin' up Main Street from Grand River to 1st Street; serving up ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, pork tenderloin, sweet treats, specialty mac n' cheese and much more. Come and check out some amazing vendors, and put in your vote for the People's Choice Best Barbecue!

Jazz and blues will be live at the beer tent located on Mill Pond Lane (in the municipal parking lot behind Great Harvest Bread Company) from 6-11 p.m. both days.. The 2019 Brighton’s Smokin’ Jazz & Barbecue Blues line up is anything but average! This year’s live entertainment pulls from the best of the best of both local and national jazz and blues bands. Cover is just $5. Ages 21 and over after 9 p.m. please. Beer, wine, cider and spiked sparkling seltzer are also just $5. ATMs are available on Main Street and at the entrance to the beer tent.

The event will be offering FREE shuttle service to and from the eventsponsored by Independence Village! Shuttle pick up location is at the Meijer MDOT Parking Lot located at 8650 W Grand River Ave, Brighton 481 16. Check back soon for shuttle times!
